Role Description:
Principal, Pune is hiring a TWS Consultant.
This role would be a key consulting team member in the Integration space with Extensive knowledge of IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) version 10.x above. This role would also look at opportunities to move certain TWS components to Cloud/SaaS keeping in consideration that the setup would be a hybrid deployment as agents are deployed to on-prem servers.

This role will report to IS Delivery Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Strong skills in systems management and experience with implementation (Design, Implementation, Configuration, and Management) of products like IBM Tivoli Work Scheduler
Hands on experience with installing/configuring/problems with Dynamic Domain Managers, Master Domain Managers, Domain Managers, agent components.
Distributed OS knowledge, plus DB related, TWS/IWS/HWA admin experience
High experience in installing and upgrading TWS environments to new versions
Troubleshooting issues related to the migration/upgradation to new versions
Sound knowledge on scripting and familiarity with Windows/Unix environment, creation/modification of shell,python, Windows scripts in new platforms
Expert knowledge in TWS architecture and components
Adding/modifying/updating of jobs on TWS using command line interface (conman and composer)
Handling outage and DR scenarios, troubleshooting agents, communications issues between components
Solid understanding of high availability, disaster recovery and performance tuning for automation platforms.
Fixing job issues and debugging skills of job abends and failures
Understanding customer needs transforms them into requirements and develops solutions.
Has experience of delivering and leading technical engagements, has technical knowledge and the maturity to be accepted as expert in his field of technology.
Preferred certifications: Certified in IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler / HCL Workload Automation certification
Education:
Graduate Bachelors degree (Engineering preferred)

Manage the day-to-day maintenance of monitoring systems, engineering solutions and their integration into broad environment.

Pushing technologies where appropriate to cloud solutions & look for implementation opportunities.
