Job Description

WebLogic Administration activities include installation, configurations, and setup of Applications. WebLogic upgradation, down gradation, and cloning.

Creation of Managed servers, Domains, and deployment of J2EE applications on managed

servers.

Upgradation of new patches as well as JDK version.

Migrate domains from development environments to production environments.

Configure connection pools and data sources.

Manage the Server life cycle.

Troubleshooting the Application deployment and performance issues

on WebLogic Server 11g/12C and 14c.

Analysing Heap dump through Memory analyzer and Analyse thread dump

through Samurai.

Provide operational 24x7 support, best practice troubleshooting,

tuning, monitoring, and maintenance.

Active interaction with application, network, and database teams.

Configure connection-pools and data-sources.

Performance tuning of WebLogic Server.

Active interaction with application, network, and database teams.

Preparing Plan of Actions for planned activities.

Preparing and maintaining daily checklist/tracker.

TLS/SSL Implementation.

Configuring monitoring tools/scripts related to Application Server and Web Server health check, profiling, Memory Usage, Concurrency etc.

Build pro-active alerts to avoid downtimes.

Experience in capacity planning sizing.

Experience in DR Switchover and Failover.

Change Management - Review proposed changes and implement them in pre-production and production environment.

Responding to and acting on client issues/requests and recognition of client priorities.
