Manager, Finance Systems

Fastly Business Systems team is looking for a Manager, Finance Systems Development and Operations teams. This role will support the Finance, Procurement, Legal and Back Office functions. The candidate integrates strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration to execute on the Finance Systems strategy. With expertise in the NetSuite, Coupa platforms and familiarity with related systems such as Aria Billing, Navan (T&E), Workato Integrations, Xactly, the candidate will serve as the cornerstone for transforming our strategies through innovative technology solutions that scale.

What You'll Do:

  • Systems Implementation & Management:

    • Lead and oversee implementations, upgrades, and optimizations for NetSuite, Coupa, Aria Billing Platforms. In addition to that, experience in CLM Implementation (Buy-Side and Sell Side) will be a plus.

    • Hands-on experience in Coupa, NetSuite and other related finance systems is a must.

    • Ensure system integrations align with business objectives and maintain data accuracy across platforms.

  • Domain Expertise:

    • Manage end-to-end processes for Order to Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record to Report (R2R), Subscription and Usage Billing, & SOX Compliance.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve process bottlenecks.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Manage and mentor a team of finance systems professionals.

    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Program Management:

    • Oversee complex system implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

    • Define project scopes, timelines, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Partner with Finance, IT, and Business stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational and compliance requirements.

    • Communicate system updates, project progress, and key decisions effectively to senior leadership.

  • Compliance & Risk Management:

    • Ensure financial systems comply with internal controls and regulatory requirements (SOX ITGCs).

    • Develop and maintain documentation for key processes and system configurations.

  • Strategic Planning:

    • Provide input into the organization's strategic roadmap for finance systems and technology.

    • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years in finance systems implementation and management, including Oracle, NetSuite, and Coupa.

    • Proven expertise in managing Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), Reporting, and related financial processes. Knowledge of Subscription and Usage Billing Systems is a must.

    • Hands-on experience with program management methodologies.

  • Leadership:

    • At least 5 years of experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Technical Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems especially NetSuite and hands on experience in Saves Searches, SQL Queries, NetSuite Config, Coupa Configs and system integration best practices.

    • Familiarity with reporting and data visualization tools is a plus.

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or relevant certifications preferred).

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong problem-solving capabilities with a strategic mindset.

We'll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:

  • Extensive Experience in these systems and certifications: NetSuite, Coupa, Aria Billing System, PMP, Xactly, BigQuery, SQL Query, JIRA etc.

Work Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours as well as an on call rotation.

This position is open to the following preferred office locations:

  • India, Pune

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.

Salary:

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly's equity and discretionary bonus programs.
