THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead the design, strategy, and execution ofLeah's technology platform and product engineering organization. This role is pivotal in scalingour Agentic AI products, strengthening our architecture, and ensuring reliable, secure, andhigh - performance de livery across Leah Agentic OS, Leah CLM, and Leah Legal.
As a senior technology leader, you will partner closely with Product, Architecture, AI, andBusiness leaders to translate company vision into a robust, future - ready engineering roadmap,while building and mentoring high - performing global engineering teams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Technology Strategy & Architecture
Own and evolve the end - to- end engineering strategy aligned with Leah's Agentic AIvision and long - term business goals.
Define and drive the technical roadmap in close collaboration with Product Managementand Architecture teams.
Deeply understand, articulate, and continuously improve the design and architecture ofthe entire platform, including scalability, security, performance, and integrationframeworks.
Evaluate current architecture and oversee the adoption and implementation of newtechnologies, platforms, and engineering best practices.
Engineering Delivery & Execution
Provide executive - level oversight of product development initiatives, ensuringpredictable, high - quality delivery against agreed priorities.
Proactively manage and escalate delivery risks, dependencies, technical debt, andarchitectural trade - offs.
Partner effectively with Project Managers, Product Managers, and Product Owners toensure alignment across scope, timelines, and outcomes.
Establish strong engineering governance, SDLC discipline, and operational excellenceacross teams.
Product & Customer Focus
Demonstrate strong product mindset -work backward from customer and user needs todrive engineering decisions.
Champion continuous evolution beyond initial releases, enabling ongoing architecturaland product innovation.
Work cross - functionally with Sales, Pre - Sales, Operations, and Customer Success tosupport smooth client onboarding and long - term customer success.
Collaborate with Product to scope and deliver system enhancements, integrations, andextensibility frameworks required by enterprise customers.
Leadership & People Management
Lead, mentor, and scale senior engineering leaders and managers across geographies.
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, technical excellence, and continuous
improvement.
Drive talent development, succession planning, and hiring strategies to support rapid
growth.
Act as a trusted technology advisor to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Strategic Contribution
Actively contribute to Leah's medium - and long - term strategic roadmap, including AIinnovation, platform expansion, and enterprise scalability.
Represent Engineering in executive discussions, translating complex technical conceptsinto clear business outcomes.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
12+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience leadinglarge, distributed engineering organizations.
Proven success in senior leadership roles such as Director / Senior Director ofEngineering within SaaS or enterprise AI platforms.
Strong track record in people leadership, strategic planning, risk management, changemanagement, and largescale program delivery.
Ability to independently manage operational aspects of complex initiatives and act as aliaison between engineering, product, and business teams.
Deep understanding of enterprise architectures, integrations, business processes, andmodern cloudbased technology stacks.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical solutionsclearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
High sense of personal responsibility and accountability for quality, reliability, andoutcomes.
Consulting or enterprise technical project management experience is a strong plus.
