We seek a proficient Pattern Maker with extensive knowledge in garment construction, fitting, and pattern creation for modern women's clothing. The ideal candidate must be adept at transforming design ideas into precise, production-ready patterns that uphold the brand's fit and silhouette criteria.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Develop initial patterns using design sketches, reference materials, and technical packs

Create patterns for various womenswear categories such as dresses, tops, co-ords, bottoms, ethnicwear, occasionwear, and western wear

Manage pattern adjustments and revisions following fit trials and sample evaluations

Ensure accurate fit, grading, measurements, and garment balance across all sizes

Collaborate closely with design, sampling, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution

Prepare patterns and technical specifications ready for production

Recommend construction enhancements while preserving the original design intent

Maintain detailed records of patterns, grading sheets, and development documentation


Requirements
Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Pattern Maker specializing in womenswear
In-depth knowledge of women's garment construction, draping, silhouettes, and fit
Experience with both Indian and western womenswear is preferred
Proficiency in manual pattern making and/or CAD software such as Gerber, Lectra, Tukatech, etc.
Strong understanding of fabrics, their drape, stretch properties, and finishing methods
Capability to manage multiple styles and deadlines efficiently
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Background
Experience working with women's fashion brands, designer labels, D2C companies, or export houses
Exposure to both sampling and production-level pattern development
Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or related fields is preferred


Ideal Candidate
A technically proficient pattern maker with a solid understanding of women's fits, fashion aesthetics, and production feasibility, capable of managing pattern development independently from concept through to final approval.
