Oracle Fusion VBCS and React JS Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Fusion VBCS and React JS Developer to join our frontend development team. In this role, you will build and enhance enterprise-grade user interfaces by leveraging React.js concepts, Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Oracle JET, and the Redwood design framework. You will also support integrations with Oracle ERP Cloud and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver performant, scalable, cloud-ready applications.
To excel in this role, you must possess deep expertise in JavaScript, React, and modern frontend development, combined with a strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture, VBCS extensibility, and Oracle JET's underlying UI component model. A top-tier candidate will be capable of designing intuitive, responsive UI components that align with both enterprise React best practices and Oracle Redwood UX standards.
Responsibilities
Meet with the development team to discuss UI concepts, technical requirements, and Oracle ERP Cloud integration needs.
Review application requirements, UX designs, and Oracle Fusion extension specifications.
Identify, design, and optimize web-based user interactions for both React and VBCS-based applications.
Develop and implement highly responsive UI components using React.js, Oracle JET, and Redwood-compliant design patterns.
Build enterprise-grade UIs using VBCS that integrate seamlessly with Oracle Fusion ERP.
Write clean, modular JavaScript and React code using workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack.
Integrate front-end applications with Oracle ERP Cloud using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST and SOAP APIs.
Extend and customize Oracle Fusion Cloud applications using VBCS, Oracle JET, and Redwood design templates.
Troubleshoot UI and integration issues across React, VBCS, and backend APIs.
Develop and maintain front-end architecture to ensure scalability and performance across Oracle Cloud environments.
Monitor and improve front-end performance using modern profiling and testing tools.
Document application changes, integration interfaces, and UI component libraries.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a React.js developer in enterprise or SaaS environments.
Hands-on experience developing applications in Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
Solid understanding of Oracle JET, including its component library and architecture.
Familiarity with the Oracle Redwood UX design system and its application within VBCS and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end tooling.
Proficiency with React.js tools such as Redux, Webpack, Enzyme, and Flux.
Experience building UI extensions and customizations for Oracle ERP Cloud.
Experience integrating with Oracle Fusion applications using; OIC, REST APIs and SOAP services.
Familiarity with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database-driven application logic.
Experience with performance testing tools such as Opkey, Panaya, Mocha, Jest, or similar frameworks.
Strong debugging skills using browser-based and cloud-based diagnostic tools.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and project management abilities.
Experience with Oracle APEX is a plus.
