Job Overview: As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will drive orglevel architecture, influence multidomain strategy, and lead complex, multiteam programs across SaaS, Analytics, Edge, and more. You are a Senior Staff Level technical leader responsible for shaping longterm architecture and engineering direction across domains. You will work on fundamental platform scaling, organizational architecture governance, and highimpact crossteam initiatives.

You are expected to:

• Multiteam technical leadership
• Designing platform strategies and frameworks
• Owning architectural vision for multiple domains
• Coaching Staff and Senior engineers

Key Responsibilities:

• OrgWide Architecture Leadership
  
  

• Define longterm architecture for platform services.
• Lead large crossorganization programs that span multiple engineering, product, and compliance teams.
• Shape architectural frameworks, standards, and best practices used across teams.

Strategy & Direction

• Partner with Directors, EMs, and Product/Compliance leadership to align engineering strategy with business goals.
• Identify and drive resolution of systemic architectural challenges.
• Influence roadmap decisions and investment areas across multiple domains.

Platform & System Design

• Design enterprisegrade compliance and audit systems that guarantee correctness and reliability.
• Architect highscale ingestion systems capable of handling billions of events/day
• Lead largescale migrations, rearchitectures, and costperformance optimizations.

Reliability, Scale & Observability Leadership

• Set SLOs for critical systems across Netradyne's platform.
• Drive platformwide initiatives for resilience, data quality, and observability.
• Develop frameworks and patterns for fault tolerance used across engineering.

CrossTeam Influence

• Lead orgwide design reviews and technical councils.
• Help navigate complex technical tradeoffs across teams and domains.
• Serve as a senior technical advisor and decisionmaker across projects.

Mentorship & Thought Leadership

• Coach and mentor Senior, Staff Engineers and emerging leaders
• Raise overall engineering maturity through standards, patterns, and frameworks.
• Represent engineering in strategic conversations, influencing stakeholders at all levels.

Mandatory Skills

All Staff requirements, plus:

• Demonstrated success driving orglevel architecture and multiteam initiatives
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, scalability, and data platforms.
• Ability to convert ambiguous business/regulatory requirements into system architecture.
• Proven ability to influence across teams without authority.
• Strong storytelling and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building enterprisegrade compliance or regulatory systems
• Handson experience operating complex ingestion/streaming infrastructures at massive scale.
• Experience defining engineering vision or leading longterm platform strategies.
