About The Job:
- The role focuses on ensuring the secure, stable, and compliant operation of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Planner, and Bookings. Core responsibilities include leading lifecycle management, implementing governance controls, optimizing licensing, and enabling the business to maximize the value and adoption of M365.
- Provide 2nd/3rd-level support for M365 services (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Planner, Bookings)
- Execute incident, problem, and change management (ITIL framework)
- Perform configuration and policy management (Teams policies, sharing, DLP, retention, access models)
- Conduct service monitoring, health checks, and quality assurance
- Manage license allocation, analysis, and optimization (E1/E3/E5 + add-ons such as Teams Phone, Power Automate, Viva)
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles
- Service Design & Governance
- Develop and maintain service architecture, service catalog entries, RACIs, and operating models
- Implement governance: naming, provisioning, lifecycle, sensitivity labels, retention, data access
- Contribute to security/compliance controls (Conditional Access, DLP, retention, sensitivity labels)
- Support release management, feature rollouts, and M365 roadmap evaluation
- Business Enablement & Consulting
- Advise stakeholders on M365 standard solution design
- Collaborate with product owners, security, compliance, network, and support teams
- Design user experiences and evaluate usability impact.
- Prepare and deliver learning sessions; evaluate learner performance
- M365 Core Services (30%) – Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Planner, Bookings
- Tenant & Governance (20%) – Policies, Compliance, DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Lifecycle
- Identity & Security (10%) – Entra ID (AAD), Conditional Access, Group Models
- Licnsing & Cost Optimization (15%) – M365 E1/E3/E5, Add-ons, Evaluations, Optimizations
- Automation & Scripting (10%) – PowerShell (PnP/Graph), Power Automate (Admin/API)
- Service Processes (10%) – ITIL, Change/Incident, Documentation
- Consulting & Communication (5%) – Business oriented, clear and designed to stakeholders, German / Englisch
Must-Have
- Microsoft 365 service operations knowledge
- 5+ years of Microsoft 365 operations experience
- Deep knowledge of Teams & SharePoint Online (permissions, governance, lifecycle)
- Strong M365 licensing expertise (E1/E3/E5 + add-ons)
- Expertise in governance: DLP, retention, sensitivity labels, external sharing
- Solid PowerShell scripting skills
Should-Have (Strong Plus)
- Conditional Access and Entra ID experience
- Power Automate for operational automation
- Experience with tenant- wide rollouts and change enablement
- Runbook and SOP creation expertise
