Role Overview:
The BIM Manager will lead BIM delivery and digital engineering initiatives for Data Center and Mission Critical projects, supporting Vertiv's global business across design, prefabrication, installation, and operations. This role ensures robust BIM governance, high-quality model delivery, automation adoption, and alignment with Vertiv's product-centric and system-based approach.
The position requires strong leadership, deep MEP/data center expertise, and hands-on experience with BIM automation and Digital Twin readiness.

Experience:
14+ years total experience in BIM Engineering
6-8 years in BIM leadership / people management roles
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering / architecture / construction management.
Master's degree preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
BIM Strategy & Governance
Define and govern BIM standards, workflows, and execution strategies for Infrastructure/Data Center projects.
Author and review BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) aligned with mission-critical requirements.
Ensure consistency across Business Units and regional teams.
Drive ISO 19650 alignment and Vertiv BIM protocol compliance.
Project & Delivery Management
Oversee BIM delivery for large-scale projects (Data Centers, Industrial, Infrastructure, Commercial).
Manage multi-disciplinary BIM coordination (Architecture, Structural, MEPF).
Ensure timely delivery of models, drawings, and federated BIM outputs.
Review and approve BIM deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
Team Management & Mentorship
Lead, mentor, and develop BIM teams including BIM Leads, Coordinators, and Modelers.
Plan resource allocation, skill development, and succession planning.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and capability building.
Foster a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder & Client Coordination
Work closely with internal stakeholders, global teams, and external consultants.
Act as primary BIM point of contact for clients and senior leadership.
Support pre-sales, proposals, Statements of Work (SoW), and technical presentations.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and client BIM mandates.
Technical Expertise
Expert in MEP-centric BIM for Data Centers and Infrastructure projects.
Advanced experience in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360.
Strong exposure to BIM Automation (Dynamo, Python, APIs).
Experience with as-built and operational BIM models.
Knowledge of prefabrication, modular construction, and system-driven design.
