General Manager - Dyeing

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic and self-driven individual to join our Dyeing team, who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Dyeing operations. The individual should possess thorough knowledge on weft knit dyeing and should be capable of building and maintaining effective relationships with the cross-functional teams and customers.

The Job:

• Responsible to oversee the day-to-day dyeing production and drive the team to achieve the production target as per monthly loading plan.
• Strengthen the technical capabilities and all aspects of dyeing operation processes and systems to improve the overall competitiveness to be technically competent to handle all technical related matters by the team.
• Responsible to ensure the bulk production meets technical and quality standards from sample stage to the finished product as per the customer requirements.
• Responsible to review the performance and drive the team to achieve the KPI's as per the budget.
• Build strong relationship with the cross functional leadership team, customers and suppliers to resolve quality, operational and manufacturing related issues to ensure OTD, and quality are met for business growth.
• Lead and set directions for the team as per SMART goals and for succession planning.
• Responsible to execute the vested duties in relation to health & safety guidelines, instruction, and protocols of the operational departments.

The Person

• Essential: Should have a good technical & functional hands-on experience in weft Knitting & Synthetic Dyeing operations.
• Possess a Bachelor's/ Master's degree Textile Engineering or Any Other Equivalent Qualification
• 20 to 25 years of experience in Dyeing Operations (both technical & function)
• Far East working experience is an added advantage with Uniqlo Customer Management
• Demonstrable Ability to Communicate, Present and Influence Key Stakeholders at All Levels
• Excellent in People Management and Analytical skills.
