Job Overview:
Provide supporting role to Construction Manager in the performance of their functions. Monitoring Scaffold Procedures implemented at the worksite, assisting site team in plan, execute and having full control on site team in scaffold related activities with maintaining HSES & Quality requirements.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as scaffold supervisor/inspector in construction department
  • Shall possess a recognized graduation Degree in Science (with Physics & Chemistry) or a diploma in Engineering or Tech
  • Good communication skills to handle the workforce to meet the project requirements
  • Similar job execution experience is must
  • Refinery experience is must

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Method statement, JSA for Scaffold related works
  • Designing and preplanning the scaffold according to the specifications, weight limitations, scaffold type, fall protection, tie-offs, supports, etc.
  • Overseeing the erection and dismantling of the scaffold as per the approved method statement and in accordance with the plant operating procedures
  • Conducting inspection and certification of the quality, suitability and safety of the scaffold as per the industrial standard and best industrial practices
  • Follow-up with contractor for timely mobilization of scaffold materials
  • Conduct day-to-day surveillance on scaffold material availability of planned activities
  • Able to train the workforce as per the project requirement to maintain the safety culture
