Lead Solution Architect - Cloud Native ECM & Azure Solutions

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Solution Architect with strong expertise in Azure cloud-native architecture, microservices, Java-based enterprise solutions, and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms.

This role is focused on proactive solution architecture and enterprise platform design rather than operational support or incident management. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding complex business challenges, identifying risks early, and designing scalable, secure, and future-ready enterprise solutions.

The architect will play a key role in defining and driving a unified ECM architecture that supports enterprise document management platforms and Microsoft SharePoint while enabling cloud-native modernization initiatives on Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a solution owner by understanding business challenges and translating them into scalable architectural solutions
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-native ECM platforms on Microsoft Azure
• Design modern microservices-based enterprise solutions with strong focus on scalability, resilience, and security
• Define and evolve unified ECM architecture supporting:
  • Enterprise Document Management platforms
  • Microsoft SharePoint
• Drive architecture decisions for cloud-native and distributed systems using Java and Azure technologies
• Proactively identify architectural gaps, risks, and future scalability concerns
• Evaluate multiple technical approaches and recommend best-fit architecture based on:
  • Scalability
  • Security
  • Performance
  • Cost optimization
  • Long-term sustainability
• Design RESTful APIs and service-to-service communication models
• Guide development teams on architecture standards, patterns, and best practices
• Create and maintain architecture documentation including:
  • Solution architecture diagrams
  • Integration models
  • Architecture decision records
• Ensure all solutions align with enterprise standards, governance, compliance, and security requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders, leadership teams, and engineering teams to drive solution direction

Required Skills & Experience

Cloud-Native & Azure Architecture

• Strong experience designing cloud-native enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Experience with microservices-based architecture and distributed systems
• Good understanding of:
  • Scalability
  • Fault tolerance
  • Resilience
  • Observability
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployments

Java & Enterprise Solution Architecture

• Strong background in Java-based enterprise architecture
• Experience designing:
  • REST APIs
  • Enterprise integrations
  • Service communication models
  • Large-scale distributed applications

ECM & Content Management Platforms

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) concepts
• Experience working with:
  • Documentum or similar document management platforms
  • Microsoft SharePoint
• Ability to design unified content management solutions across multiple enterprise platforms
