Mumbai Metro Line 4 and 4A are part of the city's expanding rapid transit network being developed by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). Line 4 is a major 32.3 km elevated metro corridor running from Wadala to Kasarvadavali in Thane, with around 30 stations and extensive connectivity across the eastern suburbs. This role focuses on ensuring effective interface management between civil, track, E&M, and system contractors to achieve a safe, reliable, and fully integrated transport system.

  • B.E.(Mechanical/Electrical) With 3 years of overall experience
  • Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical) with 05 years of minimum overall experience
  • Be responsible for the overall technical coordination of the project, particularly from the point of view of proper integration of all Systems and Civil Works (including Track and E&M) in all technical and operational areas to ensure delivery of a safe and coherent metro system.
  • Develop the interfacing strategy and planning for completing the systems interfaces activities of the Client project to ensure that the necessary interface activities can be accomplished in a timely manner throughout the project life cycle.
  • Be a focal point with interface works package contractors and designated interface contractors and suppliers.
  • Interact on site with the Client, the Civil (including Track and E&M) and Systems' teams, the sub-systems and third parties on all matters related to the integration of the transport system.
  • Perform impact analysis for the interface requirements and design changes and advise the impact of the changes to the management for decision making.
  • Coordinate the activities of each contractor related with System integration to achieve the integration objectives on the project.
  • Attend coordination meetings with all project contractors and communicate issues and concerns relating to coordination, approvals and system interfaces.
  • Manage and offer real-time mitigation strategies for the interface resolution process to ensure that all interface conflicts are addressed and resolved satisfactorily.
  • Produce Interface Management Plans and Interface Control Documents for each of the system interfaces
