Line Layout Designer - Precontracting

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

• We are looking for a Line Layout Designer -Precontracting, based in Pune, part of Regional System Design Team in EPMOrganization, reporting to the Lead System Design.
• Located in Pune, our site has developed around differentareas such as project management, sales, after sales, digital solutions,engineering, integration services and line design and automation.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in design of linelayouts according to customer specifications. He will be responsible to developthe most suitable layout solution for the Customer, ensuring correctintegration of Sidel machines and Third-Party Equipment.

YOUR MISSION

• Accountable for Q-C-D projects deliverables (layouts/conveyors quotations) for the assigned new equipment projects:

• (Q) Quality - Deliverables are being met to defined specifications and in accordance with Company guidelines
• (C) Cost - Project deliverables are being completed within strategicregional sales targets
• (D) Delivery - Deliverables are being completed within the assignedschedule timelines

• Ensure all required statutory and regulatory conditions are being met, including Sidel corporate values, governance and processes
• Create a collaborative project team environment
• Effectively engage with Stakeholders
• Build quality into processes and deliverables
• Navigate complexity
• Embrace adaptability

Group of functional activities critical for theeffective delivery of the project:

• Understand customer needs
• Perform Site Survey and participate in customer meetings
• Collect inputs from internal Product Divisions and Suppliers to develop engineering layouts for the offer, in line with
• Company sales strategy to satisfy customer specifications and requirements
• Accountable for line dimensioning and accumulations calculation, with the purpose to achieve a line efficiency in accordance with standard internal guidelines and customer expectations
• Prepare conveyors quotation in line with Project Manager Proposal requirements and Customer specifications
• Manage 3PE conveyors suppliers in precontracting
• Integrate all the equipment into the layout, in accordance with safety, ergonomics and efficiency requirements
• Ensure data collection for project launch and handover with Design Execution Team
