About the Role:

The Jr. Plant HR Business Partner role exists to ensure efficient, compliant, and consistent execution of all HR processes at Plant level, translating People strategy and policies into daily Operational Delivery. The role acts as the first point of contact for managers and employees, supporting recruitment, employee relations, training execution, and People Experience on the shop floor. It safeguards operational continuity through disciplined HR administration and labour compliance. The role operates within defined frameworks, escalating strategic, complex, or industrial matters to the Plant People Business Partner.

Main Responsibilities:

HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT

    • Supports Plant People Business Partner in recruitment, performance management and individual development plans
    • Coordinates implementation of development actions agreed with line managers
    • Provides data and followthrough for organisational initiatives led by the Plant People BP
    • Support the implementation of Group guidelines in the Plant
    • Executes HR development processes for Plant employees in line with defined frameworks, e.g fine- tuning on existing structures, sizing / right sizing analysis, workload analysis and job assessment
    • HUMAN RESOURCES POLICY

        • Implements Group and Plant HR policies at operational level
        • Ensures consistent understanding and application of policies by managers and employees
        • Supports rollout of HR guidelines and tools at Plant level
      Escalates policy deviations or risks to the Plant People BP
  • HEALTH & SAFETY

      • Collaborates with H&S Team in execution of peoplerelated H&S policies and procedures
      • Supports the H&S Team for training, inductions and compliance documentation
      • Supports the H&S Team during local audits and reporting activities
    Supports H&S in cascading the communication across the Plant workforce

BUDGET MANAGEMENT AND HR PLANNING

    • Supports Plant People Business Partner in Workforce Planning and Budget data preparation.
    • Tracks HRrelated costs and supports periodic reporting
    • Ensures accuracy of Plant workforce and cost data
    • Supports analysis required for budgeting discussions

TALENT MANAGEMENT

    • Coordinates performance appraisal and performance management cycles
    • Supports Plant People Business Partner in implementation of development and training actions
    • Tracks talent and performance data for Plant population

Ensures process timelines and documentation standards are met

REWARD MANAGEMENT

    • Executes compensation and benefits processes as per approved policies
    • Supports administration of salary review, incentives and benefits
    • Ensures accurate data and employee communication

Supports resolution of routine rewardrelated queries

PEOPLE EXPERIENCE

    • Supports rollout of People Experience initiatives at Plant level
    • Acts as a visible and accessible HR contact for employees
    • Supports engagement, communication and feedback activities

Contributes to a positive and inclusive shopfloor environment

RECRUITMENT AND HIRING

    • Manages endtoend recruitment execution for Plant roles
    • Coordinates with hiring managers on interviews and selections
    • Manages onboarding and local induction processes

Supports internal mobility and staffing changes at Plant level

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND LABOUR NEGOTIATIONS

    • Works closely with Plant People Business Partner and Industrial Relation Manager in resolving daytoday employee relations and grievance handling
    • Supports Industrial Relations Manager in disciplinary processes and documentation
    • Supports Industrial Relations Manager in fulfilling compliance with local labour laws and HR regulations

Supports employee communication and engagement activities

About You:

Graduation is must. MBA degree/diploma in HR is preferred with more than 7 years of work experience

  • Prior experience in in lean manufacturing plant (automotive with WCM, TPM or other methodology) will be preferred
  • Understanding of the Training Skill Matrix

Strong knowledge of HR operations within a manufacturing or industrial plant environment, including recruitment execution, onboarding, learning and development, rewards and recognition, organizational development, employee relations and HR administration. Sound understanding of HR Policies and Processes of manufacturing plant, knowledge of labour laws and industrial relations practices, with the ability to apply policies consistently on the shop floor. Working knowledge of HR systems, reporting, and workforce data management is required. Familiarity with health & safety processes and their peoplerelated implications in an industrial setting is an advantage.
