Backend SDE-III

Role Overview:

We need a Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience who has led the design and evolution of large-scale distributed systems in production. At CloudSEK, you will architect and drive critical backend systems that ingest, enrich, and process massive volumes of security signals in real time - systems that demand correctness, performance, and operational resilience.

As an SDE III, you will own architectural direction, influence engineering standards, and make high-impact technical decisions that shape the platform's long-term scalability. You will work across services, guide complex backend initiatives, and mentor engineers while ensuring our systems remain reliable under unpredictable and high-volume workloads.

This role is for engineers who think beyond individual services - who design for multi-year evolution, anticipate failure modes, and build systems that other engineers depend on.

Technical Skills

• Skills to build highly scalable and efficient services.

• Great programming skills with expertise in Python.

• Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases, designing and optimising data storage.

• Extensive experience in backend development, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.

• Knowledge of modern programming technologies and approaches (Microservices, Design Patterns, DRY principles, etc.).

• Knowledge of basic DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines and AWS.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed computing, and event-driven systems.

• Additional experience and proficiency in Golang is an added advantage.
