Primary skills - Azure Synapse, ADLS and SQL
Secondary skills - Data warehousing, Pyspark and Power Bi
1. 5 - 8 years of experience in data engineering / Data Warehousing
2. Strong experience with Azure Synapse Analytics (Pipelines, SQL Pools, Spark Pools)
3. Hands-on experience with Data Warehouse design & Data Modelling
4. Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Synapse and ADLS.
5. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance and reliability.
6. Strong knowledge of SQL (including stored procedures, functions, performance tuning, etc.) and a good understanding of other Azure services.
7. Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using SQL and PySpark for processing large volumes of data.
8. Expertise in Dimensional Modelling (Star/Snowflake schemas). Solid understanding of ETL/ELT architecture and best practices.
9. Experience integrating workflows using Azure Logic Apps
10. Experience Developing and supporting Power BI reporting and analytics
11. Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
12. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
13. Azure certification (DP-200/DP-201 or equivalent) is a plus.
14. Able to interact with customer to understand the problem
