• Experience with ITSM processes
• Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skill.
• Excellent in Verbal, written communication.
• Creative thinking in implementing Service improvements (automation, incident reduction, etc.).
• Experienced in running operations following ITIL processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Vblock for system administration, monitoring, health checks, and troubleshooting Vblock appliances.
Mandatory skills :
Vblock, VxRail, vRA, VRO, vROPS, vCenter, SRM, VSAN, NSX VT, HCI
• Perform RCM upgrades including Cisco UCS, PMAX storage and Nexus switches a spart of the Vblock architecture.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving issues within HCI environments, including Vblock specific troubleshooting procedures.
• Knowledge of storage networking technologies like SAN, NAS, and iSCSI, relevant for HCI deployments.
• Expertise in deploying and configuring Vblockl appliances, including setting up storage, networking, and virtualization components.
• Understanding of integrating VBlock with other VMware products like vCenter Server, vSAN, and NSX for comprehensive HCI management.
• In-depth knowledge of VxRail Manager for system administration, monitoring, health checks, and troubleshooting VxRail appliances.
• Strong foundation in virtualization concepts and technologies like VMware ESXi, including resource management, virtual machine creation and management, and vMotion/DRS for workload migration.
• Understanding of network concepts like VLANs, IP addressing, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Manage upgrades and configuration changes not limited to applying updates, patches, RCM upgrades and fixes as needed.
• Capacity planning, performance analysis and tuning.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for VBlock Infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Client Subject matter experts for improvement in managing VBlock infrastructure including Planning, Implementation, Migration as part of improvement initiatives to meet business and technical requirements.
• Knowledge of VxRail and VRA
• Ability to lead and work with a team supporting 24x7 Operations for the Customer.
