The JD:
• Role: Systems Engineer IV (5-10 years' Experience)
• Experienced engineer responsible for gathering business requirements and designing enterprise-grade storage and backup solutions.
• 5-10 years if enterprise storage/backup engineering
• Deep expertise in block and object storage and backup platforms.
• Strong scripting and API automation skills.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into storage/backup architectures.
• Design, implement, and optimize block storage, object storage, and backup platforms aligned to RPO/RTO, security, and compliance needs.
• Develop automation and integrations using platform APIs to streamline provisioning, policy management, and reporting.
• Create reference designs, standards, and runbooks, document configurations and dependencies.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure coverage, resiliency, encryption, and immutability.
