Lytegen is a leading solar sales and installation firm headquartered in Sacramento, CA. We are looking for a Graphic and Video Designer who can own our visual identity across all digital touchpoints.

We do not want an order-taker. We want a creative partner who understands the US consumer mindset and can independently drive our brand's aesthetic forward while leveraging modern AI tools to enhance speed, quality, and creative output.

The Role

You will be responsible for end-to-end creation of high-performing static and video assets that drive qualified solar leads in the US market.

From high-converting Facebook ad creatives to educational YouTube explainer videos, you will own the creative process from concept to execution while integrating AI tools to increase production efficiency and creative experimentation.

You must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you self-manage deadlines, optimize based on performance data, and maintain high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Multi-Format Design

Create high-impact static graphics for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and landing pages

Design technical diagrams, solar process infographics, pitch decks, and website visuals

Develop scroll-stopping ad creatives optimized for conversion

2. Video Production

Script, edit, and produce short-form videos such as Reels, TikToks, and Shorts

Create mid-form educational and explainer videos for YouTube

Add motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, and hooks optimized for US audiences

3. AI-Integrated Creative Workflow

Use AI tools strategically to enhance creative output and speed, including:

ChatGPT for script ideation, hooks, headline variations, and ad angles

Higgsfield and Krea for AI visual generation and concept exploration

HeyGen for AI avatar videos for educational or sales content

InVideo for rapid video prototyping and ad creative iterations

Nano Banana or similar AI design tools for creative ideation and visual experimentation

Any emerging AI tools that improve production speed, testing capability, and output quality

Combine AI-assisted production with strong human design judgment

4. Ad Creative Optimization

Collaborate with the marketing team to A/B test visual hooks

Suggest new creative directions based on performance data

Build multiple variations for testing including headline, thumbnail, opening 3 seconds, and CTA placement

Continuously optimize creatives for CPL reduction

5. Brand Consistency

Maintain and evolve Lytegen's brand guidelines

Ensure a premium, trustworthy, and clean aesthetic aligned with US market expectations

Balance conversion focus with strong brand positioning

6. Asset and Workflow Management

Manage your creative pipeline independently

Maintain an organized library of raw footage, templates, thumbnails, and final exports

Create reusable templates to scale production

Requirements

Experience

5 plus years of professional graphic and video design experience

Strong portfolio showcasing both static and motion work

Experience creating performance marketing creatives and not just aesthetic branding work

Technical Skills

Expert in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects

Proficient in Canva

Strong understanding of aspect ratios, platform specifications, and ad-first design

AI Proficiency

Hands-on experience using AI tools in creative workflows

Ability to leverage AI for ideation, scripting, visual generation, and video production

Comfortable experimenting with new AI platforms to improve output and efficiency

Market Understanding

Deep understanding of US design trends

Clean, minimalist, and conversion-focused aesthetic

Ability to design for trust, credibility, and high-ticket decision-making

Independence and Ownership

Proven ability to take a rough idea and turn it into a finished asset

Self-managed, deadline-driven, and quality-focused

Strategic thinker and not just an executor
