Branch Head- Health Insurance

Job Summary
The Branch Head will be responsible for managing overall branch operations, business growth, client relationships, and claims management for the TPA branch in Chennai. The role includes leading the operations team, coordinating with insurance companies and hospitals, and ensuring efficient claims processing and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Branch Operations Management

• Oversee complete branch operations including claims processing, client servicing, and administration.
• Ensure smooth functioning of cashless and reimbursement claim processing.
• Monitor turnaround time (TAT), rejection rates, and claim settlements.

2. Business Development

• Develop strategies to increase business and revenue for the branch.
• Identify new corporate clients and insurance partners.
• Manage renewals and maintain strong client relationships.

3. Team Leadership

• Lead and manage operations, claims, and customer service teams.
• Set targets and monitor team performance.
• Train and mentor employees to improve productivity.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain relationships with:
  • Insurance companies
  • Hospitals
  • Corporate clients
  • Brokers
• Handle escalations and complex claims cases.

5. Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company policies.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and performance reports for management.
• Manage audits and ensure documentation accuracy.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 8+ years experience in TPA / Health Insurance
• Strong understanding of cashless hospitalization & reimbursement claims

Experience handling branch operations & Business development
