Role Overview

We are looking for a well-rounded HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team in Bangalore.

This role will work closely with business leaders while also owning core HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and payroll processes.

The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking and operational excellence, with the ability to build and scale people processes in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, aligning people initiatives with business goals.

Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, engagement, performance management, and career development.

Drive HR operations including documentation, compliance, HRMS management, and process optimization.

Own and manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.

Partner with managers to address team challenges, improve engagement, and enhance organizational effectiveness.

Support talent management initiatives such as succession planning, high-potential identification, and leadership development.

Work with leadership to design and implement HR policies, frameworks, and scalable processes.

Analyze people data to provide insights on workforce planning, retention, and organizational design.

Drive employee engagement initiatives aligned with Metadome's culture and values.

Manage employee relations and grievance handling with empathy and fairness. Requirements

5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to HR Generalist / HRBP roles.

Hands-on experience in HR operations and payroll management is mandatory.

Strong understanding of core HR functions (performance management, talent management, employee relations, policy, and compliance).

Proven ability to work closely with business leaders and influence outcomes.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.

Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with comfort in using data for decision-making.

Experience in a high-growth or startup environment is preferred.
