Professional Services Engineer, Actimize(PL/SQL)

We are looking for talented and motivated professionals to join the NICE Actimize Professional Services team in Pune. This role is focused on implementing, customizing, supporting, and deploying cloudbased NICE Actimize solutions for global financial services customers.
You are someone who enjoys handson technical work, learning enterprise platforms, solving complex problems, and working closely with architects, senior engineers, and customer stakeholders. You are curious, proactive, and excited to build realworld solutions in the financial crime and compliance space. If you love digging into systems, understanding how things work endtoend, and delivering highquality customer implementations - this role is for you.
How will you make an impact?
You will be part of a global Professional Services organization delivering missioncritical solutions to leading financial institutions. Working in a fastpaced, customerfocused environment, you will help configure, customize, test, and deploy Actimize solutions that protect billions of dollars and millions of customers worldwide.
As part of this team, you will:
- Analyze customer requirements and assist in assessing technical feasibility
- Configure and customize NICE Actimize solutions to meet clientspecific needs
- Develop and enhance solution components using SQL, Java, and Actimize development tools
- Assist in integrating Actimize solutions with customer ecosystems and downstream systems
- Execute functional and technical testing of configurations and customizations
- Support deployments across development, test, and production environments
- Perform root cause analysis and help resolve implementation and production issues
- Ensure delivery quality, stability, performance, and adherence to best practices
- Collaborate closely with architects, SMEs, and senior engineers on complex implementations
- Participate in peer code reviews, design discussions, and solution walkthroughs
- Contribute to documentation such as design notes, SOPs, configuration guides, and deployment runbooks
- Continuously learn Actimize products, financial crime domains, and cloud technologies
Have you got what it takes?
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in SDLC, implementation, technical services, or application support roles
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Experience working on Windows and/or Linux environments
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problemsolving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
- Willingness to learn new platforms, tools, and business domains
- Teamoriented mindset with a proactive and accountable approach
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Exposure to NICE Actimize solutions or similar enterprise platforms
- Basic Java programming knowledge
- Experience in banking, financial services, or financial crime domains
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
- Basic understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, PowerShell)
