System Analyst
About The Client:
An American multinational computer software company incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in San Jose, California. They specialize in software for creating and publishing a wide range of content, including graphics, photography, illustration, animation, multimedia/video, motion pictures, and print.
Essential Job Functions:
- Engage with end-users to understand the business requirements, elicit and document its information needs with respect to internal applications and reporting.
- Gather requirements for applications, reports and dashboards to cater to the information needs across the spectrum of the business.
- Should be creative, with ability to accurately and objectively comprehend a business problem and can easily develop prototype solution.
- Advanced level skill to create innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Well versed with Agile/ Scrum practices and comfortable working in fast paced environment.
- Hands on experience with data analysis leveraging SQL, Excel, Power BI , etc. and performing testing of BI solutions (data +functional).
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / System Analyst / Business System Analyst.
- Any CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification, or related to business analyst would be a plus
- Fast learner, analytical and skill to understand multiple businesses, their performance indicators
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Superb communication and presentation skills
- Excellent communication, documentation and data story telling skills.
- Current role should be - Business Analyst, System Analyst, Business System Analyst
- Should know how to create – Requirement Gathering, Requirement Elicitation, User Interviews, Functional Requirement Specification (FRS), Business Requirement Document (BRD), System Requirement Specification (SRS), User Stories, Wireframes
- Technical know-how and tools – SQL, Data Analytics and Visualization, Excel.
- Certification – CBAP, or any certification linked to Business Analysis.
