Apigee Developer --Trivandrum
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Apigee Developer to design, develop, and manage API solutions using the Apigee API Management platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RESTful API design, security protocols, and the full lifecycle of API development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable API proxies using Google Apigee Edge/X/Hybrid.
Develop and enforce API best practices and standards.
Configure and manage policies such as security (OAuth 2.0, JWT), mediation (transformations), and traffic management (rate limiting, caching).
Integrate Apigee with backend systems including microservices, databases, and cloud services.
Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Debug and troubleshoot API issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Monitor API analytics and optimize for performance and reliability.
Document API specifications using Swagger/OpenAPI.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Apigee Edge or Apigee X/Hybrid.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and JSON/XML.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
