Essential Skills: For a Production Support (ProdOps) focal in Identity and Access Management (IAM), the skill set should focus on operational excellence, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth functioning of IAM systems. Here are the key skills and competencies required for this role:1. Technical Skills:o IAM Tools and Platforms: Proficiency in IAM solutions such as PingAccess, PingFederate, Ping Active Directory, PingOneSSO• Setting up IDP and SP connections, Policies, Selectors, Adapters and contract mapping in PingFederate• Access Token Management, Access Token Mapping, OIDC polices in PingFederate• Creating Applications, Rules, Rulesets, coarse grain authorization etc in PingAccess• Onboarding Applications into PingAccess and PingFederate• Server and application certificate renewal o Authentication and Authorization Protocols: Understanding of protocols like SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.o Database Management: Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL) to manage user data and access logs.o Programming Language: Java/Pythono Cloud: Azure cloud and DevOps knowledgeo Scripting and Automation: Skills in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automating routine tasks and processes.2.
