SAP BW on Hana

SAP BW on HANA Implementation & Configuration:

• Lead the implementation of SAP BW on HANA solutions, ensuring smooth integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Design and implement optimized data models using HANA's in-memory capabilities for high-performance reporting.

• Configure and enhance SAP BW on HANA data flow processes including DataSources, InfoProviders, transformations, and data loading mechanisms.

Data Modeling & Performance Optimization:

• Develop data models for reporting and analytics that leverage the capabilities of SAP HANA, including advanced features like HANA views and SQL scripting.

• Optimize existing BW queries and data models to achieve faster processing times and improve data retrieval performance.

• Work on the migration of legacy SAP BW systems to SAP BW on HANA with an emphasis on minimizing downtime and maximizing data integrity.

ETL Processes & Data Integration:

• Manage end-to-end ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring seamless integration between SAP BW on HANA and other data sources (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, third-party systems, etc.).

• Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading processes using tools like SAP Data Services, SLT, and HANA Smart Data Integration (SDI).

Business & Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into actionable SAP BW on HANA solutions.

• Lead and participate in client workshops to gather requirements and design customized data solutions that support business needs.

Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide ongoing support for SAP BW on HANA environments, resolving performance issues, system errors, and other technical challenges.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction, data loading, and reporting.
