Design, implement, and manage security controls and services within AWS (e.g., IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Macie, WAF, Shield).
Perform regular security assessments and audits of AWS environments.
Monitor for threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance issues using AWS-native and third-party tools.
Develop and enforce policies related to identity and access management (IAM), least privilege, and resource tagging.
Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Investigate security incidents and lead root cause analysis and remediation.
Maintain security documentation and assist in regulatory and compliance efforts (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).
Stay current with evolving cloud security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
