functional testing

We're looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated Software Test engineer to join a highly motivated and passionate team, working on applications.

Responsibilities:

- Interacting closely with Business Functional and Technical Teams to understand Software Requirements

- Test bank creation for functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing and sanity testing

- Test bank execution for each release

- Reporting test case execution status on regular basis

- End user training and client interaction for application adoption

- Act as gatekeeper of high quality and performance for Heckyl applications

Must-Haves :

- Knowledge of Stock Markets Capital Markets Finance domain

- Experience Stock and Derivatives Trading Testing web and mobile based applications.

- Excellent understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance principles and General Programming Concepts

- Excellent Manual Testing Skills

- Experience in using TFS or any other repository tool

- Knowledge about AJAX calls and how they work

- Good documentation skills

- Ability to work independently and also as part of a Team

- Ability to work in a fast-paced Start-up

- Attention to detail and focus on accuracy

Nice-to-Have:

- Hands-on experience with Open Source Testing tools like Selenuim, LoadUI etc.

- Good knowledge of SQL Database Concepts

- Knowledge of Trading Applications like Nest Trader ( Omnesys ), ODIN & NOW.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's (BE, BTech, BSc, BS) or Master's (ME, MTech, MSc, MS) degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred, however qualification is not a barrier for the right candidate.
