Fortigate
Key Responsibilities:
Fortinet Firewall Management:
o Configure, manage, and maintain Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate) for enterprise-grade security.
o Perform advanced troubleshooting of FortiGate firewalls to resolve network security issues and optimize firewall policies and rule sets.
FortiManager & FortiAnalyzer:
o Utilize FortiManager to manage, configure, and automate firewall policies and rules across multiple FortiGate devices.
o Leverage FortiAnalyzer for log aggregation, reporting, and event analysis to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.
VPN Configuration & Troubleshooting:
o Configure and manage secure VPNs (IPsec, SSL VPN, site-to-site VPN, and remote access VPN) ensuring secure communication for remote users and sites.
o Diagnose and resolve VPN connectivity issues, performance degradation, and ensure high availability of VPN tunnels.
F5 Load Balancer Administration:
o Configure, manage, and troubleshoot F5 Load Balancers to ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance for applications and services.
o Design, implement, and maintain load balancing configurations for internal and external applications, including SSL offloading, traffic distribution, and health checks.
Automation:
o Experience on Automation tools like Algosec and Appviewx
Network Security Design & Architecture:
o Design and implement security architecture for the organization's network, ensuring compliance with best practices and security standards.
o Perform security assessments and audits, recommending improvements to enhance overall network security posture.
Documentation & Reporting:
o Create detailed documentation for network security configurations, policies, and incident resolutions.
o Produce regular reports for senior management on security performance, network issues, and recommendations for improvements.
Mentorship & Leadership:
o Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
o Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with network, systems, and security teams to improve the organization's overall security posture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
o Minimum of 10 years of experience in network security engineering, with hands-on expertise in Fortinet Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, VPN configuration, and F5 Load Balancers.
o In-depth knowledge of Fortinet products and their integration into enterprise environments.
o Proven experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing F5 Load Balancers for high-availability applications.
Certifications:
o Fortinet NSE 4/5/7 certification is required.
o F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS) or equivalent is a plus.
o Additional certifications such as Cisco CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, or other security-related certifications are advantageous.
Technical Skills:
o Deep expertise in configuring and managing Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate) and utilizing FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
o Advanced knowledge of VPN protocols (IPsec, SSL, remote access, site-to-site).
o Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancer administration and troubleshooting (SSL offloading, application traffic distribution, and high-availability setup).
o Experience with network automation using tools like Ansible, Python, or other scripting technologies.
o Familiarity with network monitoring tools, SIEM solutions, and IDS/IPS technologies.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve complex network security issues.
o Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts and issues to non-technical stakeholders.
