Desktop Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Assist with installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via chat, email, or in person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Support OS installations (Windows, Mac) and software updates.
• Assist in maintaining an inventory of IT assets.
• Create and update documentation related to troubleshooting steps and FAQs.
• Collaborate with the IT team for system upgrades and rollouts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common office applications.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP) is a plus.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced IT environment.
