Install, configure, and maintain FortiGate Firewalls, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Firepower appliances.
Implement, manage, and optimize firewall rulesets, VPNs, and security policies.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of firewall configurations to ensure compliance and security best practices.
Network Security:
Design, implement, and support network security solutions, including intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), virtual private networks (VPN), and firewalls.
Perform risk assessments and vulnerability assessments, and provide recommendations to enhance network security posture.
Monitor network traffic and events to identify, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats.
Incident Response:
Investigate security incidents, gather data, and perform root cause analysis.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement incident response plans.
Implement appropriate remediation steps to mitigate any detected security vulnerabilities or threats.
Security Monitoring & Reporting:
Utilize security monitoring tools and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds, etc.) to track and report on network security incidents.
Produce security reports and dashboards to communicate network security posture to management.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain up-to-date network security documentation, including network diagrams, security policy documents, and procedures.
Ensure all network security configurations align with compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
Collaboration & Support:
Collaborate with IT and other business units to implement security best practices and provide technical support for network security issues.
Assist with network security design and architecture for new projects and infrastructure changes.
