Electrical Engineer - Bangalore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Design Engineer with 6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical design principles, relevant industry standards, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality designs in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems and components in accordance with project requirements.

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical).

• Conduct load calculations, short circuit analysis, and protective device coordination.

• Specify electrical components, wiring, and materials per industry codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE).

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, civil, and project engineers.

• Support in prototype development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical designs.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality protocols.

• Manage project documentation and revisions throughout the design lifecycle.

• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).

• 6+ years of professional experience in electrical design.

• Proficiency in electrical CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, etc.).

• Familiarity with PLCs, motor control circuits, control panel design, and power distribution systems.

• Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEC, UL, IEEE).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and project management abilities.
