Smart Comm Application Development
Responsibilities:
  • Application Development:
    1. Design and Development: Create and modify SmartCOMM templates, layouts, and stylesheets to meet business requirements.
    2. Data Modeling: Develop and maintain data models to ensure accurate data representation in documents.
    3. Scripting: Write and maintain scripts for automation and customization within SmartCOMM.
  • Customization:
    1. Business Requirements: Work with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    2. Enhancements: Implement enhancements to improve application functionality and user experience.
  • Integration:
    1. System Integration: Integrate SmartCOMM with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP) to ensure seamless data flow.
    2. API Development: Develop and maintain APIs for integration with external systems.
  • Testing and Debugging:
    1. Unit Testing: Conduct unit testing to ensure individual components function correctly.
    2. System Testing: Perform system testing to ensure the entire application works as expected.
    3. Debugging: Identify and fix bugs in the application code.
  • Documentation:
    1. Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for developed solutions.
    2. User Guides: Develop user guides and training materials for end-users.
  • Collaboration:
    1. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver projects on time.
    2. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
  • Support:
    1. Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for SmartCOMM applications.
    2. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or bugs reported by users.
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    1. Development Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in SmartCOMM development or similar CCM solutions.
    2. Project Experience: Experience working on multiple SmartCOMM projects, from inception to deployment.
  • Technical Skills:
    1. SmartCOMM Modules: Proficiency in Advanced Template Designer, Data Modeler, and Web Editor.
    2. Programming Languages: Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, XML, and other relevant programming languages.
    3. Database Management: Experience with database management systems and SQL.
  • Problem-Solving:
    1. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve development issues.
    2. Creative Solutions: Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Communication:
    1. Technical Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    2. Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Education:
    1. Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills:
  • API Integration:
    1. API Development: Experience developing and maintaining APIs for SmartCOMM integration.
    2. Third-Party Integration: Familiarity with integrating SmartCOMM with third-party systems.
  • Cloud Experience:
    1. Cloud Deployment: Experience with deploying SmartCOMM applications in cloud environments.
    2. Cloud Services: Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Domain Knowledge:
    1. Insurance Domain: Understanding of the insurance domain, particularly in document generation and management.
    2. Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to document management in the insurance industry.
