Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support to end-users, maintain hardware and software systems, and ensure seamless daily operations across desktops, laptops, and related IT equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktop systems, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.

  • Respond to support tickets, emails, and calls, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems.

  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.

  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory, Office 365, etc.

  • Set up new users' workstations and equipment.

  • Document support issues, solutions, and processes in the helpdesk system.

  • Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.

  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and software support.

  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
