Network Security : Fortinet -- Hyderabad

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Fortinet security solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in firewall administration, VPN configuration, and network segmentation with a strong understanding of network security protocols, policies, and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Fortinet security infrastructure including FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiWeb, and FortiMail.
• Perform firewall configuration, upgrades, and policy management on FortiGate appliances.
• Monitor and troubleshoot firewall logs, performance issues, and network anomalies.
• Configure and manage site-to-site and remote-access VPNs using IPsec/SSL on Fortinet devices.
• Work closely with network and SOC teams to enforce security policies and detect threats.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and assist in risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain and review firewall rules, NAT policies, and access control lists (ACLs).
• Provide L2/L3 support for network and security incidents and escalations.
• Participate in internal and external audits related to network security.
• Document network/security changes and maintain asset/inventory records.
