Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (Oracle 11g/12c/19c). Perform regular database maintenance including backups, patching, and cloning. Monitor database performance and implement tuning techniques (SQL tuning, indexing, partitioning, etc.). Ensure database availability, high performance, and disaster recovery readiness. Implement and maintain database security policies, users, roles, and permissions. Support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN backup/restore configurations. Troubleshoot database errors, identify root causes, and resolve incidents. Automate routine DBA tasks using Shell scripting or PL/SQL. Collaborate with developers, system admins, and application teams to support database needs. Maintain documentation of database environments and operational procedures. |
