Job Title: Senior Observability SME
Role Overview: The Senior Observability SME will be instrumental in designing and implementing robust, repeatable processes and automation for Dynatrace onboarding. This role requires deep technical expertise, advanced problem-solving, and a focus on ensuring the quality of observability implementations within the data center migration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation for Dynatrace agent deployment, configuration, and dashboard creation.
- Lead the onboarding of applications with intricate architectures or unique monitoring requirements.
- Perform advanced root cause analysis and resolution for critical Dynatrace-related issues.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews of Dynatrace configurations and offshore deliverables.
- Develop custom Dynatrace extensions, synthetic monitors, and complex alerting strategies.
- Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting expertise to application teams.
- Serve as a Dynatrace platform expert, advising on features, capabilities, and limitations.
- Create detailed documentation for advanced Dynatrace patterns and troubleshooting guides.
- Train and upskill Observability Engineers on advanced Dynatrace functionalities.
- Collaborate on solution design for integrating Dynatrace with other IT operations tools.
Required Experience:

6+ years of dedicated experience as an Observability Engineer or SME.

3+ years of hands-on, in-depth experience with Dynatrace.
- Familiarity with other APM tools (e.g., AppDynamics, New Relic) is a plus.
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for observability tasks is preferrable
