SAP Hana Model

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Modeling and Design:

  • Develop and design high-performance data models in SAP HANA using tools such as SAP HANA Studio and Web IDE for HANA.

  • Create Attribute Views, Analytical Views, Calculation Views, and Core Data Services (CDS) Views based on business requirements.

  • Build and optimize data models for both transactional and analytical purposes in SAP HANA environments.

• ETL and Data Integration:

  • Work closely with ETL teams to integrate data from various sources into SAP HANA, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

  • Design and implement data transformations to align with reporting and analytical needs.

  • Ensure the integration of SAP HANA with other systems (SAP BW, SAP BusinessObjects, etc.) as required by the organization.

• Performance Optimization:

  • Perform data modeling and query optimization to improve the performance of SAP HANA data models.

  • Leverage features like Partitioning, Indexing, and HANA-specific optimizations to ensure high performance in large datasets.

  • Regularly review and tune models for performance, ensuring fast query execution times and optimal memory usage.

• Data Governance and Quality:

  • Enforce data governance and quality standards while designing data models to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data.

  • Work with data governance teams to ensure that the data models comply with internal and external regulations and standards.
