Lead Disaster Recovery

1. Work with the IT technical staff to ensure that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle.

2. Establish and maintain the overall plans for executing all DR procedures and understand their interdependencies.

3. Establish and maintain detailed DR communications and command and control plans through a change management process.

4. Develop and understand all testing necessary for a successful DR execution.

5. Schedule and lead all DR exercises.

6. Regularly report Disaster Recovery activities to upper management.

7. Act as liaison for auditing and examination of disaster recovery processes.

8. Help ensure compliance with all applicable departments.

1. Good knowledge on IT Infrastructures & their dependencies.

2. Sound Knowledge & practical experience in performing BCP / Disaster Recovery exercises is a must.

3. Ability to communicate risk and compliance subject to multiple audience including technicians, business people and management.

4. Good knowledge on Production & Operations & understanding the importance of BAU.

5. Good understanding of the topics of Operational Risks such as Resiliency & Obsolescence & their impact on business.

6. Good knowledge of industry level best practices on Operational Risk Management.

7. Analytic skills to relate incidents with Risk Management Topics.

8. Strong communication skills (written & verbal)

9. Strong Social Skills such as listening, convincing and negotiating. (This role has to do a lot of interaction with various stakeholders).

10. Experience in IT Governance and Compliance is a plus.

11. Experience in project management is a plus.
