Job Summary:

Head GTE Transformation is responsible for managing the PM CoE to make sure delivering complex IT infrastructure initiatives that support the bank's technology environment. This includes planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects related to Network, Data centers upgrades, cloud migration, IT security projects, and hardware/software deployments. The role ensures projects meet business requirements, comply with regulatory standards, and are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standardized project management frameworks, methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure consistent project delivery.
  • Lead the PMCOE team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to project managers and related roles.
  • Establish project governance structures, including stage gates, reporting standards, and risk management protocols.
  • Collaborate with departments to align project management practices with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project management processes and performance metrics.
  • Oversee portfolio management practices to prioritize projects based on strategic value and resource availability.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and training programs to build project management competencies across the organization.
  • Monitor and report on project delivery performance, risks, and issues to senior management.
  • Champion adoption of PM methodologies as appropriate to project types.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to project management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (typically 15 years) in project management with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role within a PMO or PMCOE.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in portfolio and resource management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, Agile certifications) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in financial services or banking sector is a plus.
