Description
We are looking for an experienced Integration Platform Engineer to support and enhance Integration Platform, with a strong focus on IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and DevOps practices. The role involves designing, building, operating, and modernizing secure B2B file transfer solutions while driving automation, reliability, and scalability across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Integration & File Transfer
• Design, develop, and operate B2B integration solutions using IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM B2B Integrator, and related components.
• Manage secure protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS.
• Configure trading partners, routing rules, certificates, encryption, and security policies.
• Troubleshoot file transfer failures, performance issues, and end-to-end integration flows.
DevOps & Platform Operations
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for integration and file-transfer components using tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate deployments, configurations, and environment management using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar).
• Containerize integration workloads using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes / AKS
• Monitor platform health, logs, and metrics using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor.
Cloud & Modernization
• Support integration solutions deployed on Azure (preferred) or hybrid cloud environments.
• Drive modernization initiatives from traditional middleware to cloud-native and event-driven architecture.
• Ensure scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery for critical integrations.
Security & Compliance
• Enforce security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Manage certificates, key rotations, access controls, and secure communication channels.
• Support audits and compliance requirements (ISO, GDPR, automotive security standards).
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Work closely with application teams, business partners, and external vendors worldwide.
• Participate in on-call support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Contribute platform documentation, operational runbooks, and best practices.
