Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation frameworks, financial data validation, and API testing. The role involves ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of data-intensive applications, with a focus on regression testing, UAT support, and end-to-end quality assurance in a financial domain. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Pytest, or similar
• Perform end-to-end testing across UI, APIs, and backend systems
• Validate financial data accuracy, ensuring correctness across systems and reports
• Execute and automate regression test suites to ensure stability across releases
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business stakeholders and validating business scenarios
• Perform API testing to validate service integrations, data exchange, and backend workflows
• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on business and technical requirements
• Perform data reconciliation and validation using SQL and data comparison techniques
• Identify, log, and track defects using test management tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and business stakeholders in Agile environments
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation and reporting dashboards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation and Testing
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks:
  • Selenium (Java/Python)
  • Pytest or similar frameworks
• Strong experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar
• Solid understanding of financial data validation and reconciliation processes
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation, querying, and analysis
• Experience with regression testing and test suite automation
• Hands-on experience supporting UAT cycles and business validation scenarios
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) for test automation integration
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in financial services, capital markets, or fintech domains
• Exposure to data pipeline/ETL testing
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD)
• Experience with Python scripting for data validation and automation
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
• Understanding of security testing basics
