Perform hazard classifications according to:
- GHS
- Dangerous Goods regulations
- Local chemical regulations
- Ensure safe market entry of products
SDS & Label Management
-
Author and manage regionally compliant:
- Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Label elements
- Support Lonza customers and employees with compliant documentation
Hazard Assessment Documentation
-
Document hazard assessments in:
- SAP EHS
- SAP S/4HANA
-
Communicate regulatory impacts on:
- Marketability
- Compliance requirements
Regulatory Monitoring
-
Analyze and update:
- Regulatory data
- Tools and systems
- Ensure compliance with changing regulatory requirements
Regulatory Strategy (Europe)
- Develop and implement chemical control regulation strategies

Prepare supporting documentation for European market requirements, including:
- Europe
- Switzerland
- Great Britain
System Utilization

Evaluate and implement stakeholder requirements using SAP EHS/S4HANA, including:
- Product Safety
- Labeling
- Logistics
- Trade Compliance
Business Support

Respond to business and customer inquiries regarding:
- Product regulatory standing
- Compliance status

Provide training on:
- Compliance requirements
- Marketability concerns
Product Development Support
- Support new product development activities
- Assist in securing agreements with third-party suppliers
Process Documentation

Establish and document processes impacting:
- Product safety

Act as SME for product safety in:
- Cross-functional projects

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in:
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Biotechnology
- Pharmaceutical Science
- Master’s degree or higher preferred

5–10 years of experience in:
- Regulatory industry
- Chemical industry
- Biological industry

5–10 years of hands-on experience with:
- SAP EHS
- SAP S/4HANA
Certifications & Language Requirements

Dangerous Goods regulation certification for:
- Transport
- Storage
- IATA
- Regional authorities

Business fluency in:
- English
- German
