Senior Node.js Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js
Build and implement microservices-based architectures
Develop scalable, secure, and high-availability systems
Optimize performance, memory usage, and response times
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
Troubleshoot production issues and resolve performance bottlenecks

Required Skills

5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming
Experience with Express.js / NestJS or similar frameworks
Strong expertise in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with MongoDB / PostgreSQL / MySQL
Experience with Redis or Memcached (caching)
Familiarity with RabbitMQ / Kafka (message queues)
Exposure to Docker and cloud environments
Proficiency in Git and team-based workflows

Preferred Skills

Experience building high-concurrency and large-scale applications
Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSocket-based real-time systems
Familiarity with event-driven architecture, CQRS, or distributed system patterns
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Exposure to Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
Experience with background jobs or worker thread processing
