Summary
We are seeking a developer to join a new software team at our brand-new site in Chennai. The team
will be focussed on advancing our analytics platform through feature development, tooling
enhancements, and architectural improvements. The immediate team will be co-located in Chennai,
but you will work closely with technical leadership and product management teams in London, so strong communication skills in both technical and non-technical subjects are a must.


Full Time - Chennai central office location.

Role

As a developer, you will report to the development team lead (based in Chennai).
Core Responsibilities:


  • Developing new features, tools and platform improvements.
  • Margin and collateral intelligence for derivatives.
  • Enhancing reliability and performance of software.
  • Maintaining and improving existing codebases.
  • Adhering to technical standards.
  • Liaising with stakeholders in India and the UK.
  • Performing code reviews and encouraging high standards within the team.
  • Assisting with onboarding and training of new team members.

Required Qualifications & Experience


  • University degree in a STEM subject from a reputable institution
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience
  • Familiarity with key technologies in our tech stack
