Security Consultant - Partnerships
Role Overview
The Partner Security Consultant is a technical and pre-sales role focused on enabling partner companies to understand, position, and sell cybersecurity solutions. The role involves onboarding partners, delivering product training, supporting demos and POCs, and contributing to sales proposals. You will work closely with partners and internal sales teams to progress and close deals, while acting as a technical advisor in customer discussions. The role also includes driving partner engagement through workshops and enablement initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, onboard, and manage partner companies while helping them generate leads
- Train and enable partners to effectively understand and position the product
- Manage RFP/RFI responses and create solution documents and sales proposals
- Conduct product demos, POCs, and customer presentations
- Work with sales teams and partners to drive opportunities to closure
- Act as a technical advisor to support partner-led customer engagements
- Organize and deliver workshops, webinars, and partner enablement activities
- Share relevant research and threat intelligence with partners
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, research, marketing) for regional growth
- Travel as required to meet partners and customers
- Represent partner feedback internally and act as a partner advocate
Support partners in understanding and selling the product, contribute to deal closure through technical expertise, and act as the technical backbone for partnerships.
What we are looking for:
- 2-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales, or consulting (partner/channel experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (web, cloud, SIEM, IDS/IPS, SOAR, email security, threat intelligence/dark web)
- Familiarity with the cybersecurity ecosystem and how tools integrate in SOC Environment in Small, Medium and Large Enterprises
- Ability to deliver demos, POCs, and explain solutions clearly
- Strong communication skills for both technical and business audiences
- Good presentation skills
- Self-driven and proactive approach
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, research, marketing, and partners
- Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CISSP etc., would be a plus
