Wireless (MIST) Expert/Specialist
Bengaluru, KA (Bagmane Tech Park) (Hybrid) (Will be working from client location).
Shift:- IST/ EMEA.
1-year contract with extension
Notes:- While the JD spans across multiple domains, the primary requirement is strong hands-on experience with the Juniper MIST product line. The candidate should be capable of understanding the existing design, contributing to design enhancements, supporting implementation, and troubleshooting issues during the post-implementation phase.
If MIST expert is not available, then we can look at expert on other wireless platform like Aruba /Cisco / Rickus ( Wireless).

An engineer with Mist experience is required to work with an HPE partner to design and deploy a wireless solution for an end customer. This is a hybrid role, some work will be completed on-site with the partner.

Responsibilities:
- Apply technical knowledge to operate a technology area (e.g. server administration, technical security management, performance management) or customer group with moderate risk/complexity.
- Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for customers.
- Resolve most technical incidents independently within your technical area. Work with team members to resolve more complex or cross-technology incidents.
- Identify potential escalations and alert management proactively.
- Begin to proactively and reactively provide solutions to prevent problems from occurring in area of responsibility.
- Apply company solutions to meet moderately complex customer needs within area(s) of technical responsibility.
- Balance internal needs with customer needs within defined parameters.
- May identify additional services that could lead to future service revenue growth.
- May provide technical consulting during contract renewal discussions.

- Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree holder (technical field) with 4-6 years working experience in related fields desired.
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as:
- Juniper Networks (Mist)
- Aruba Networks ( Wireless)
- Cisco Systems (Catalyst / Meraki)
- Expertise in Wi-Fi 6 / 6E / Wi-Fi 7 technologies.
- Knowledge of RF fundamentals and spectrum analysis tools.
- Experience with RADIUS, TACACS+, NAC, and firewall integrations.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Broad knowledge of company products and services offerings.
- Basic knowledge of corporate organization, job, and policies.
- Comprehensive business, technical, or functional knowledge.
