Finance Assistant / Senior Lead Associate - Financial Reporting

The Financial Assistant supports the delivery of high-quality financial accounting and reporting across the Group. The role contributes to statutory reporting, consolidation processes, acquisition accounting, and ongoing improvements to financial controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a high performing Finance function.
IFRS Accounting & Technical Support
  • Support the Group Financial Accountant with the application of IFRS across the Group.
  • Assist in preparing IFRS aligned workings and supporting documentation for audit and statutory reporting.
Group Reporting
  • Assist in preparing the monthly holding company trial balances.
  • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements for legal entities across the Group.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in all areas of statutory and management reporting.
Group Reporting & Consolidation
  • Assist in preparing the monthly consolidated balance sheet and cash flow statements.
  • Develop an understanding of consolidation principles and system processes to ensure high quality Group reporting.
  • Contribute to timely and accurate month end, quarter end, and yearend close activities.
Ad Hoc and Cross Functional Support
  • Provide analysis and technical support to the Director of Group Finance and the wider Finance team.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening reporting quality, system efficiency, and process robustness.
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Previously worked in Group reporting & Technical accounting
  • Part qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Ability to interpret and manage financial information across multiple companies and business units.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
  • High level of IT literacy, including strong Excel skills (including Power Query); experience with Planful is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting, process, and systems.
  • Good working knowledge and experience of ERP's

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast moving, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to meet established deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and quality Strong numerical accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills, ability to articulate complex information.
  • Experience with Planful is an advantage.
