Involved in designing and developing the custom PEGA framework built by client. This framework manages the product (Fund, Mandate) lifecycle part of Asset Management.
Updated existing cases in production with the current functionalities using activities. Enabling bulk updates of all the cases and attributes.
Used Data transform, Activities, Decision rules, Declarative rules, Data pages and UI components to help build the solutions.
Built the job scheduler to sync the updated cases with downstream services and update the complex calculations.
Ensured data flows from the application with Autosys Jobs to further downstream applications using external jobs through Autosys.
Written Python scripts to enable external jobs to import data into the application.
Created report definitions to support complex reporting requirements using declare index joins, class joins, and sub-reports.
Enhanced existing SOAP integration with downstream services. These included changes to XML stream rules, integration layer mapping, SOAP connector/service testing, etc.
Replaced deprecated rules with advanced ones to maintain the applications guardrail score.
Used PEGA's unit testing framework to create unit test cases for different rules to improve the applications maintainability.
Updated Parse XML request mapping in Pega for accurate SOAP data transformation and developed an Autosys job along with a Python script to invoke the SOAP service and automate updates of multiple fields from the upstream applications.
